She's a brick house

Always on the search for variety in body types for fashion dolls, I have made my next frankendolly, but I'm not sure about her.  I will post her picture without comment, and then post an in-depth of how I made her when I get a chance.  I want honest feedback, but I don't want to put any thoughts in your heads so I won't give my reservations about her yet.

  1. The head goes pretty good with the curvy body but the thin legs are throwing me off. More importantly though - I cant wait to know how you did that!

  2. Similar thought, to Muff's. I have known people who had a big bust and long legs... they also had no hips and had a belly... I'd say this is an unusual body type, all right! :)

  4. I like her. With pants on her and the thin legs will not be shown. : ) Looking forward to seeing how she came about.

  5. She looks a little squashed to me. Her neck seems lost. I like that she is on a wider body - is the body Mimi Bobeck's? She looks a little off balance, but that's probably because I am accustomed to "regular" fashion doll bodies, i.e. stylized with model proportions.

I would have her wearing a longer skirt to balance out her body though.

    Thanks for sharing!

  6. Looks interesting, although it's a bit hard to tell the shape and proportions of the body itself with the dress she's wearing. I would definitely like to know more!

  7. I say more power to you. I have created a couple of fuller body ladies. I wish they made the bodies available. I love the Happy Family Grandmother body. I wish they would make her again and give her articulated legs.

I'm intrigued to know which body you used :O)

  8. With the clothes on, it is very difficult to figure out what is going on with that body. Is it a Rosie O'Donnell body with a run-of-the-mill Barbie head?
And I'm also curious about where the clothes came from.
All in all, I think the one thing that would make her look the most "normal" is a longer neck.

  9. I think the Ken is there for scale but he isn't working. She needs a more "Manly Man"! She looks OK to me. I'm just not sure about the outfit. It looks like a young look for a more mature women. The face doesn't read teen. The puff at the shoulder makes her shoulders look bigger than Ken. Lets see her in something else!
