1:6 world bleeds into 1:1...

Am I the only person that ever forgets for a minute that real life doesn't work like doll life?  The other day I was having problems with my hair and for a split second my mind went to pouring boiling water over it so it would lay down.

  1. I do think the hot water would give you a real reality check! LOL But let me say it...don't do that! Get a brush.

  2. LOL, sometimes I look for clothes in my closet that actually belong to my dolls! So nope, it's not just you! :)

  4. Not to be morbid--but when I was having chemo--I was eyeing the re-rooting tool... :)

  5. This is hilarious. I haven't mixed up my worlds yet, but I guess it must be coming soon.

  6. Ouch. Although, actually, if one has curly hair one uses the any-old-water (probably cool or lukewarm) method a lot (well, I do). If my hair dries wrong when I'm too busy to fuss, or if a curl gets limp - add water! (Even just the water from showers does the dry ends good, too.) Refreshed and clean slate. It's the opposite of when one is trying to curl with an iron and needs to straighten to start over (or trying to avoid water with a perfection wavy/curled coif thanks to an iron) but same concept!

Just no boiling hot water for people!!

(And also, as a curly girl, no brushes, ever!)

All I've done is start to view the human world like it's the plastic and 1:6 furniture world (and sometimes I can't tell the photographs apart, thanks to the amazing long and hard work of experienced dioramists) then I know I need a break from dolls and probably sleep! (Sometimes I even FEEL like a plastic chick walking around, or feel like I have a Mattel expression on my mouth, eep.)
